Helena Michael

Helena Michael has more than a decade’s experience as a youth worker, providing young people with the necessary tools to discover their talents and realize their potential.

Helena uses a variety of strategies to engage teams, embrace change, lead more effectively, foster positivity, and improve performance. She provides insights on how to attract and nurture relationships by communicating effectively and on deeper levels. She employs different facilitation tools to engage participants for effective learning process of both small and large groups to assess skills qualities to realize and maximize potential.  

With charismatic humour, a passion for the human spirit, and the real-life tools people need today, Helena Michael hopes to Inspire people to successfully navigate Change and become more Resilient in a world that is ever-changing. Helena breaks it down into practical and adaptable strategies that help people take immediate action to find balance, joy and life-affirming moments. 

Helena holds a Master’s Degree of Applied Psychology in Coaching and is a certified professional coach. She is also a certified Motivation Factor Practitioner and a Certified Virtual Learning Facilitator.

Some of the organization which Helena has either trained, facilitated or coached for various levels of participants from Country Managers, Branch Managers, Supervisors, & Individual Contributors include AIA, Gamuda Land, HSBC Malaysia, Hong Leong Group, Prudential, Public Bank, National Instruments, Agilent Technologies, Air Selangor, MSIG, Rockwool, and Swarovski.

Joachim F. Xavier

Xavier is an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya He began his legal practice in one of the largest and oldest firms in the country, Messrs Chooi & Company Cheang Ariff before moving on and eventually setting up his own law firm Messrs Xavier & Koh Partnership (“XK Law”) Xavier handles both civil and criminal law matters having vast experience in advising and representing clients at all levels of Malaysian Courts.

Xavier graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in 2011. He also completed in one sitting the Certificate in Legal Practice, commonly known as one of the toughest law exams in the country that one has to pass to become a legal practitioner. Throughout his career, Xavier constantly updates his legal knowledge though courses organised by the Malaysian Bar and the Kuala Lumpur Bar.

Xavier is also an accomplished public speaker having been a member of Toastmaster International for over 6 years and conducting numerous training on speaking and leadership skills since 1993. During this time Xavier achieved the Advanced Toastmasters Gold Award in the year 2000 and the Advanced Competent Leader Award in 1999. Xavier also served as Club Vice-President (Membership), Vice President (Education), Club President, Area N 2 Governor and Assistant Division Governor.

Xavier has conducted various workshops, seminars and training for organisations and
private companies such as Kobe Technologies, Intel Technology, Penang Development Corporation, Komag USA, Texchem Corporation, Great Eastern Life, Ametek BCM Electronics Corporation, Sunflower Training Centre and Speakright Consultancy.

Murnira Mury

Murnira’s career revolves in the area of Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources and Customer Service. She has multiple industry experience which includes construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, oil & gas and broadcasting.

Her last professional career was with Gamuda Land as the General Manager of Human Resources where she was involved in transformation of the organisation’s HR strategies and practices, hence, supported the CEO in the transformation of the organisations structure, human capital practices, overall people development strategies and implemented digital processes for talent management, performance management and learning systems. She also had regional experience working with multinationals such as Lafarge, Shell, and Scicom under the Nokia Account where she lead multi national teams.

Currently she works on projects consulting for Organizational Development, L&D, Talent Management, Career Management & HR, at the same time still continues with her side hustle, a network marketing business consisting of an organisation of 25,000 members.

Mohd Haniff Shukor

Mohd Haniff, currently he works on projects, consulting for small medium enterprises in creating programs and set ups of their sales division, including team structure, business operations, rewards and compensation, as well as coaching and mentoring.

His professional career was mainly in Shell Malaysia, holding various roles from the ground up to senior management within the retail division. He has managed local teams in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, leading the marketing initiatives for each country. He played the major role in external partnerships such as key local banks, OEMs, payment loyalty merchants and CRM consultants in the various countries.

Specialises in project management, product launches, marketing events, market research, external partner relationship, and reengineering of retail processes.

A full fledge oil & gas downstream retail experience, ranging from engineering to sales and operations, station convenience retailing, payment & loyalty marketing, fuels marketing, government liaison and business partner relationship. Lead and managed both locally and regionally (Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong markets). BEng. (Hons) Mechanical Engineering graduate from University of Warwick.

Aaron Chan

Aaron Chan is a chemical engineer by training but his passion has always been in Learning & Development. Since he was 19, he has been facilitating training and programmes for school students to corporate adults. He also has corporate experience of 12 years working for the property, engineering, healthcare and financial industry.

He specialises in leadership, team and personal development. His strength is in empathizing with his participants. He believes that while everyone is different, no one should be left behind in development. He has background in facilitating middle management leadership programmes, first time managers, EQ, personal empowerment and intergenerational leadership.

He is a Certified Ken Blanchard Trainer for First Time Managers and Situational Leadership II®. Having both a Masters in Engineering and Masters in Psychology, he is also a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a Certified Professional Coach with the Malaysia Association of Certified Coaches (MACC).

He is also a Certified Accelerated Learning Practitioner, Certified Personality and Preference Inventory Practitioner, Certified NLP Master Practitioner, Certified Hogan Assessment Practitioner & Certified Virtual Learning Facilitator.

In his spare time, he is an avid Toastmasters. In 2019, he achieved the highest achievement award of Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM). He was also awarded the Division Director year award for the term 2018-2019.

James Chin

James Chin is an experienced and multi skilled HRDC trainer specialized in investments, financial planning, global markets, fintech, sales mastery and motivation. Prior to this, he was a Director at CIMB Private Banking and CIMB Principal Asset Management. He was previously a licensed Capital Market Services Representative (CMSR) holder for fund management from the Securities Commission of Malaysia.

James has been a full-time trainer since 2019 and has conducted various HRD approved courses focusing on leadership and human capital transformation embracing Industry 4.0 to MNCs and SMEs besides CPE/CPD courses for various banks including Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, AmBank, Alliance Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, UOB, Bank Islam, MIDF, OCBC, Affin Bank and Public Mutual.

James has been in the financial industry since 1997 within consumer banking, asset management and private banking where he has gained extensive knowledge on the global economic environment and has been exposed to various financial and investment instruments during his tenure in CIMB, ABN Amro, OSK, Prudential and Hong Leong. He has been an investment speaker on the financial circuit in Malaysia since 2003 where he conducted numerous Investment Roadshows / Seminars for banks over the years during his asset management days. He has also been conducting trainings over the years to bankers and agents. He won the Public Speaking competition during CIMB Group’s 2013 Regional Trainers Convention in Bali. His area of expertise includes various investments such as equities, bonds, unit trust and structured products; technological disruption in the financial industry, change management, sales and sales management, building a motivated team and powerful presentation techniques.

He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wawasan Open University and is also an Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) graduate.

Ong Yihua

Since 2015, Yihua has adopted the Experiential Learning model in training and module designing. She has since conducted many leadership camps for HELP Matriculation Centre, Department of Management Studies at HELP Academy, and Rotary Club of Bukit Kiara Sunrise. Yihua facilitated numerous training and team building sessions for companies like MSWG, AIA, Gamuda Land, etc. She excels at gamifying learning and excites participants in all the modules that are conducted. Some of the topics that Yihua covers are Sales and Negotiation, Team Dynamics, Branding, Vision Setting, Synergy, etc. 

Yihua co-founded a youth development organisation named PEDALS Academy in 2021 to train Malaysian youths to become facilitators who are well equipped with personal development and leadership skills using a youth-to-youth approach.

Kalyn Lau

Kalyn has been actively involved in Facilitation and organizing various activities since 2014 and has been working with children and youth within the area of personal development and leadership skills for over a decade. She has organized and facilitated camps, workshops, and religious events.mHer programs include topics and themes on Personal Leadership, Communication, Facilitation Skills, Team building activities. With a positive mindset and strong leadership skills, she also leads and teaches/trains others in helping people to realize their potential and build their confidence.

With a passion, Kalyn co-founded PEDALS Academy and is keen to leverage her abilities and knowledge to navigate youths to discover and develop themselves through Facilitation.
